About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a part-time Teller to join its National Branch Network at the Cottage Hill Road location in Mobile, Alabama. In this customer-focused, front-line role, the Teller supports everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately processes transactions, and provides a welcoming, reliable experience. The Teller is a primary customer contact and represents the branch through attentive service and care. The role builds foundational retail banking skills. Tellers learn about customers’ needs, introduce relevant services and digital tools, and connect customers with bankers for detailed product conversations. They work with branch teammates to support daily operations and deliver a consistent customer experience. Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking methods, including digital tools, self-service options, or an appropriate team member.
Build relationships and listen actively to understand customers’ everyday financial needs.
Connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately while exercising sound judgment and managing risk in line with policies and controls.
Communicate clearly, clarify customer needs, and provide straightforward solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; identify and escalate risks or issues.
