About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a part-time Teller to join its National Branch Network in the Hill Country District. In this front-line, customer-focused role, the Teller supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately completes transactions, and provides a welcoming and reliable experience. The Teller is a primary point of contact for customers and represents the branch through strong service, attention to detail, and genuine care. The role builds foundational banking skills by learning about customers’ needs and introducing helpful products, services, and digital tools. The Teller identifies opportunities to support customers and connects them with the appropriate banker for detailed product conversations. Working closely with branch teammates, the Teller helps keep daily operations running smoothly and delivers a consistent, high-quality customer experience. Wells Fargo describes the position as an entry point to retail banking and potential long-term career growth, supported by training, coaching, and a team-based culture. The position is listed at two possible San Antonio, Texas locations: 18488 Blanco Rd, San Antonio, TX 78258, and 20826 US Hwy 281 N, San Antonio, TX 78258. Availability may vary by branch. The schedule includes Saturdays. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education, or a combination of these.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine service transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or the appropriate team member.
Build relationships and actively listen to understand everyday financial needs.
Connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Recognize potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercising sound judgment and managing risk in accordance with policies and controls.
Use communication and active listening to clarify customer needs and provide clear solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues for timely resolution.
Follow applicable risk and compliance programs, policies, and procedures; escalate and remediate issues as required.
