About The Position

Tinker Federal Credit Union is hiring a part-time Teller for its Crossroads branch. The position provides a variety of credit union services to members, promotes products and services through various delivery methods, and guides new and existing members on available services and current promotions. Tellers greet members, offer assistance, and follow standard operating procedures. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with rotating Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The position will relocate to the new Frisco branch in December. This is a non-exempt position with a starting rate of $20.00 per hour; actual placement depends on experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity. Required onboarding includes incumbent bonding, completion of regulations training, and TFCU University certification.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Passion for assisting customers with integrity and working with cash.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Adaptability and initiative.
• Knowledge of policies, procedures, TFCU products and services, federal and state regulations, privacy procedures, confidentiality guidelines, and cash-handling standards.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail, including the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to use and maintain basic office equipment.
• Incumbent bonding required by TFCU’s chosen authority.
• TFCU University certification required and completed.
• Ability to work the stated weekday schedule and rotating Saturday schedule.

Nice To Haves

• One year of applicable work experience in a related position is preferred.
• Financial institution experience is preferred.
• Previous bank or credit union teller experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with Symitar navigation, NCR/Enterprise systems, Reg CC, Reg DD, Reg J, Deluxe, Home Branch Messaging, MoneyGram, InfoImage, Co-Op locator, Synergy, QuickAssist, and the Reg E Monetary Instrument log.
