About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a part-time Teller to join its National Branch Network at the Bluffton Gateway location. In this customer-focused, front-line role, the Teller supports customers’ everyday banking needs through in-branch interactions, accurately processes transactions, and provides a welcoming and reliable experience. The Teller serves as a primary customer contact, builds foundational banking skills, learns about customers’ needs, introduces helpful products, services, and digital tools, and connects customers with bankers for detailed product conversations. The role works closely with branch teammates to support daily operations and a consistent, high-quality customer experience, with training, coaching, and opportunities for long-term career growth. The position is based at 24 Bluffton Rd., Bluffton, SC 29910. The schedule includes Saturdays. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least 6 months of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Accurately process routine service transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
Welcome customers, understand their needs, and guide them to efficient banking options, including digital tools, self-service options, or an appropriate team member.
Build customer relationships through active listening and connect customers to relevant information, services, digital tools, or bankers.
Identify potential product or service needs, introduce solutions at a high level, and refer customers to a banker for detailed guidance.
Complete transactional and operational activities accurately, exercising sound judgment and managing risk in line with policies and controls.
Use communication and active listening skills to clarify customer needs and provide clear solutions or next steps.
Collaborate with branch teammates, follow leadership direction, and escalate complex situations as needed.
Resolve routine customer questions or concerns and escalate more complex issues to support timely resolution.
