Teller (traveling position-North Idaho)

About The Position

The Teller serves members accurately and efficiently by responding to stated and unstated needs, providing financial direction, and offering appropriate products and service referrals. This is a branch support position that travels to STCU branches in Idaho to provide coverage as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least six months of customer service experience in a retail or customer service environment, including recent cash-handling experience.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
Ability to regularly talk, hear, and operate a computer, keyboard, and mouse.
Ability to occasionally lift, pull/push, and carry up to 25 pounds, with accommodations.
Ability to travel to other branches as part of the Branch Support team.

Responsibilities

Protect membership integrity and confidentiality by identifying members and account ownership to ensure proper access.
Perform transactions accurately in accordance with credit union policies and procedures, balancing standards, and dual-control requirements.
Strengthen member relationships by presenting and explaining products and services that meet members’ financial needs.
Deliver excellent member experiences, take ownership of issues and challenges, increase member loyalty, and uphold STCU’s Here for Good brand promise.
Maintain comprehensive, current knowledge of credit union products and services.
Learn the core skills of the position and stay current on regulatory, policy, and procedure changes.
Proactively and efficiently resolve issues with member accounts.
Travel to other Idaho branches as part of the Branch Support team.
