About The Position

The Teller conducts credit and debit transactions in compliance with established bank policies and procedures. The role keeps an appropriate cash supply on hand, prepares a daily proof record, and maintains an acceptable difference record. The Teller may also process night deposits and ATM transactions, provide excellent service to bank customers, and refer customers to other bank staff for product sales or problem resolution. Other duties may be assigned.

This role requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools, generally gained through work experience, and may require vocational or technical education. Work is performed under moderate supervision. Problems are typically routine but may occasionally require interpreting or deviating from standard procedures. The role communicates information that may require some explanation or interpretation.

The position requires standing for extended periods and lifting objects weighing up to 30 pounds. Compensation depends on factors such as education, experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
