About The Position

Langley Federal Credit Union is hiring a part-time Teller to work on-site at its Gloucester Branch in Gloucester, Virginia. The Teller provides members with excellent in-person service, accurately processes member transactions, and educates members about products and services that help them save, borrow, and spend wisely. The role also supports branch operations, member protection, teamwork, and teller training.

Requirements

An associate degree, or two years of face-to-face customer service or sales experience including cash handling, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Process member transactions, including balance inquiries, transfers, payments, loan advances, account openings, and other requests through the core system.
Process cash transactions accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Assist members with service requests, document interactions, and follow up using the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool and Document Management System.
Educate members about Langley products and services and make referrals to internal business partners.
Interact professionally with peers, supervisors, and other Langley employees to foster teamwork.
Mentor and serve as a role model for tellers, providing adequate on-site training.
Help deter fraud and theft to protect members and the Credit Union.
Assist with other branch operational duties as assigned.
Comply with Credit Union policies and regulatory requirements.
Work at other branch locations as needed.
