About The Position

Sharonview is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-driven Teller Service Representative to serve members in Shelby, North Carolina. The role provides financial transaction support, responds to questions and account issues, and helps members understand and access credit union services. The representative also builds member relationships and identifies suitable products, services, and solutions that support members’ financial needs and the credit union’s business goals.

Responsibilities

Process member and business financial transactions, including issuing checks and processing deposits, withdrawals, wires, drafts, and other negotiable instruments.
Respond to member inquiries about account operations, access to services, discrepancies, error resolution, and adjustments to service features across accounts.
Stay informed about relevant products, services, federal regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
Engage with members in the lobby, foster relationships, and identify opportunities to offer products and services that meet their needs.
Promote solutions that support business goals, including deposit growth, new member acquisition, business services, and referrals.
Calculate and explain deposit rates and APRs/APYs.
