About The Position
Sharonview is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-driven Teller Service Representative for its Shelby, North Carolina branch. The role provides service and support to credit union members by processing financial transactions, responding to questions about accounts and services, staying current on products and policies, and building relationships with members. The representative also identifies relevant opportunities to connect members with credit union products and services and supports business goals through referrals and other solutions.

Responsibilities
- Process member and business financial transactions, including issuing checks and processing deposits, withdrawals, wires, drafts, and other negotiable instruments.
- Respond to member inquiries about account operations, access to services, discrepancies, error resolution, and adjustments to service features across accounts.
- Stay informed about relevant products, services, federal regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
- Engage with members in the lobby to foster relationships and identify opportunities to offer products and services that meet their needs.
- Promote solutions that support deposit growth, new member acquisition, business services, and referrals.
- Calculate and explain deposit rates and APRs/APYs.
