About The Position

Sharonview is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-driven Teller Service Representative to serve members in Simpsonville, South Carolina. The role provides financial transaction support, responds to questions about accounts and services, and helps members find credit union products and services that fit their needs. The representative also supports business goals through member engagement, product promotion, referrals, and accurate explanations of deposit rates and APRs/APYs.

Responsibilities

• Process member and business financial transactions, including issuing checks and processing deposits, withdrawals, wires, drafts, and other negotiable instruments.
• Respond to member inquiries about account operations, service access, discrepancies, error resolution, and adjustments to service features across accounts.
• Stay informed about relevant products, services, federal regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
• Engage with members in the lobby to build relationships and identify opportunities to offer suitable credit union products and services.
• Discuss solutions with members to support deposit growth, new member acquisition, business services, and referrals.
• Calculate and explain deposit rates and APRs/APYs.
