About The Position

Landmark Credit Union is hiring a part-time Teller I for 20–24 hours per week. The position serves members by accurately receiving and paying out funds, providing cash receipt and payment services according to credit union policies and procedures, and presenting and explaining a basic selection of credit union products and services. The teller represents the credit union in a positive and professional manner. The schedule includes varying weekday shifts, including Mondays and Fridays, and every Saturday. Branch hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM; Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM; and Saturday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Must have experience with, or be able to gain proficiency in, all programs and systems used for the job.
Must develop a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures related to the position and comply with company policies and procedures and applicable job-related state and federal laws and regulations.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

Previous work experience with cash handling or customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, courteous, and prompt teller and related services while maintaining a balanced cash drawer daily.
Cross-sell other member services.
Process mail deposits and withdrawals.
May assist with balancing the ATM if the task is not performed by an outside source.
May train to perform opening and closing duties with a manager on site.
May train to verify checks for other tellers.
May train to perform overrides.
May be cross-trained to assist in other branch positions.
May be required to attend training at headquarters or an off-site location.
Perform other duties as assigned.
