About The Position

The Techno Functional Consultant will analyze incident data, dashboards, and datasets to identify opportunities for optimization. The role focuses on deriving strategic insights that improve event source tuning, reduce noise, optimize event pipelines through correlation and de-duplication, and identify automation and self-healing opportunities. The consultant will manage a formal book of work for optimization initiatives, partner with technology domain owners to communicate the value of proposed changes and encourage adoption, and measure and report the resulting benefits and incident reductions. Recommendations should align with fundamental ITSM processes, particularly event, incident, and change management. The mandatory skill listed is Linux administration, and the stated experience range is 8–10 years.

Responsibilities

Analyze existing incident data dashboards and datasets to identify optimization opportunities.
Develop insights for event source tuning and noise reduction.
Identify opportunities to optimize event pipelines, including correlation and de-duplication.
Identify automation and self-healing opportunities.
Develop, prioritize, and manage a formal book of work tracking optimization initiatives.
Partner with technology domain owners to communicate the value of proposed changes and drive adoption.
Quantify, track, and report the benefits and incident reductions achieved by each initiative.
Apply knowledge of ITSM processes, particularly event, incident, and change management, to ensure recommendations are compliant and effective.
