About The Position

Fox Pest Control offers a Technician Pathway Program focused on developing pest control expertise and leadership skills through hands-on experience, formal and ongoing training, mentorship, and opportunities to grow into leadership roles. Technicians take ownership of their service routes and provide customer-focused pest control services tailored to each customer’s needs.

For each visit, technicians prepare the materials needed for the customer, communicate their arrival, greet customers professionally, perform pest control services thoroughly, document the work completed, and provide recommendations for continued pest protection. The position pays $14–$15 per hour, with additional commission and bonus opportunities. Paid training includes licensing and certification costs. Technicians may be reviewed for a performance-based raise after 90 days. The company also describes a merit-based pathway program with promotion and pay milestones, individualized leadership plans, and performance tracking.

Requirements

• A current pest control license or previous experience with pest control or pesticides.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials specific to each customer's pest control needs.
• Communicate arrival and greet customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Perform pest control services carefully and thoroughly.
• Record detailed notes about each service and recommend ways to maintain pest protection.
• Analyze pest activity, explain it to customers, and take appropriate action.
• Follow servicing protocols when applying chemical solutions and products.
• Manage an assigned service route and proceed to the next customer with energy and focus.
