About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repair equipment safely and effectively to avoid downtime. The fleet varies by location and primarily includes aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and equipment. Specialty-line locations may also have large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil and gas-related equipment. The role offers work on a variety of equipment in a safety-focused environment, with on-the-job training and opportunities to build skills for service or operations management career tracks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• May need to provide tools of the trade.
• Bilingual ability (Spanish or another language) may be required depending on location needs.

Nice To Haves

• Some trade school or equivalent training.
• One to three years of technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty-line equipment such as large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil and gas equipment.
