About The Position

The Technician - Slots performs routine maintenance on slot machines, diagnoses and repairs mechanical and electronic issues, replaces faulty components, and tests machines to ensure proper operation. The role keeps accurate records of repairs and maintenance and communicates with casino staff to help ensure machines are functioning properly.

The technician provides customer service to casino patrons, handles routine guest complaints and incidents, and uses appropriate discretion to identify situations that require supervisory attention. The role seeks to resolve situations in a way that maintains positive guest relationships. A flexible schedule is required to meet business needs, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change. Other duties may be assigned.

The position is primarily indoors in a temperature-controlled environment, with occasional exposure to outdoor climates. The target hourly rate is $17.21.

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
• Ability to perform the physical activities listed, including occasional standing, walking, kneeling, reaching, pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 25 pounds, and frequent sitting with repetitive movement of the arms, hands, and fingers.
• Speech and vision abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on slot machines.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic problems with slot machines.
• Replace faulty parts and components as needed.
• Test machines to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
• Communicate with other casino staff to ensure machines are functioning properly.
• Provide excellent customer service to casino patrons.
• Handle routine guest complaints and incidents, using discretion to identify situations requiring supervisory attention and seeking to maintain positive guest relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
