About The Position

This position provides technical writing support for research, industry collaboration, and commercialization activities in the area of engineering. The Technical Writer works closely with the involved faculty members to develop high-quality grant applications, translate technical content into clear and compelling narratives, and identify funding opportunities aligned with the research program. The role also supports knowledge mobilization through the preparation of reports, proposals, and communication materials, and may contribute to developing and maintaining a research website to showcase projects, partnerships, and outcomes.

Requirements

• Internal candidates and former employees of the University of Alberta will be given priority consideration.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model with a mix of remote and in-person work.
• Work primarily takes place at North Campus, Edmonton.
