The Technical Writer will be part of the Policy and Control Operations team within Information Security. This role focuses on technical documentation writing, not transaction processing. If selected for an interview, candidates will be asked to provide technical writing samples. The position involves providing functional and/or technical writing support to resolve internal program inquiries, collaborating with team members to address questions and issues promptly, and emphasizing proper documentation, notification, escalation, tracking, and follow-up. Responsibilities include creating original documents, developing, reviewing, and editing documentation for technical IT products, policies, security standards, processes, procedures, and deployments. The role also entails conducting research, data analysis, creating reports, communicating with team members, engineers, and Subject Matter Experts to document and publish Standard Operating Procedures, and ensuring the accuracy and completion of all work products. The Technical Writer must be able to clearly convey technical details to diverse audiences, both in writing and verbally.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen required
  • 2+ years of Technical Writing related experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide functional and/or technical writing support for resolution of internal program inquiries.
  • Liaise with other teams members as required to resolve questions/issues in a timely manner.

  • Conduct relevant research, data analysis, and create reports

  • Convey technical details clearly to a range of audiences, both in writing and verbally.
