About The Position

Reflexive Concepts is seeking an advanced, experienced Technical Writer 3 to prepare, review, revise, and maintain programmatic documentation. The role updates operations documents and updates or develops follow-on acquisition documentation using approved Government templates and formats. The ideal candidate has excellent writing and editing skills, is proactive and organized, and understands enough of the customer’s terminology to work independently. An acquisition background may be helpful.

Requirements

• Eight years of demonstrated combined experience as a technical writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity; four additional years of technical writer experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree, and a master’s degree may substitute for two years of experience, reducing the experience requirement to six years.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related discipline from an accredited college or university, subject to the stated experience substitutions.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with a full-scope polygraph.
• CI polygraph within the last five years.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Proactive and organized, with enough understanding of the customer’s terminology to work independently.

• Acquisition background and familiarity with acquisition terminology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, revise, and maintain programmatic documentation, including the Program Management Plan (PMP), Program Acquisition Strategy (PAS), Operational Capabilities Statement (OCS)/Statement of Capability (SOC), Functional Requirements Document (FRD), Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), Systems Engineering Plan (SEP), Program Protection Plan (PPP), Cybersecurity Strategy (CSS), and Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP).
• Write and edit programmatic documentation using approved Government templates and formats.
• Update operations documents.
• Update or develop follow-on acquisition documentation.
