About The Position

Lionbridge seeks a talented and experienced Technical Writer to join its team as a Senior Technical Writer. The role optimizes written copy supplied by Lionbridge teams and/or clients for accuracy and consistency. Precise formatting, tone, accuracy, clarity, and focus according to team or client requirements are important. The Technical Writer collaborates with teams, leadership, clients, and points of contact to ensure standards are understood and achieved, and provides guidance to junior team members.

Requirements

• Excellent writing skills and the ability to ensure accurate and consistent tone, clarity, structure, and mechanics of content.
• Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• At least 3 years of experience in technical writing or a related field.

Nice To Haves

• Experience optimizing written content for localization or translation.
• Experience working with style guides and understanding readability measurement methods.
• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager or another content management system.

Responsibilities

• Update simple- to moderate-complexity procedural articles as assigned, completing assignments on time and in accordance with quality guidelines.
• Write clear, simple content that follows partner-company and departmental standards and guidelines.
• Ensure content is technically accurate and uses appropriate tone, voice, grammar, formatting, punctuation, spelling, and messaging.
• Collaborate with team leadership to manage content assignments and proactively communicate status.
• Provide guidance to junior team members.
