About The Position

Planera is a fast-growing software startup bringing real change to construction planning and scheduling. We are disrupting an industry that has seen little innovation in decades, and the opportunity for change, and upside, is big. Our culture is dynamic, smart, and spirited, and we are committed to solving critical problems for general contractors and project owners. Join us and help to grow a company that will change how the world is built. The Solutions Engineer (SE) is a customer-facing role that combines strong construction scheduling knowledge with strong communication and technical aptitude. This role is designed for experienced construction professionals who have built and managed project schedules and are comfortable explaining how work gets planned, sequenced, and executed. As a Solutions Engineer, you will work closely with Sales to help prospective customers understand how Planera fits into their existing scheduling and planning workflows. This role does not require prior software sales experience. However, it does require strong construction and scheduling experience, comfort with modern software tools, and the ability to communicate effectively with construction professionals at all levels of an organization.

  • Deliver tailored demos to project managers, superintendents, schedulers, and operations leaders, adjusting for project type, audience role, and scheduling maturity.
  • Speak confidently to CPM concepts: logic, sequencing, constraints, calendars, lookaheads, and how Planera fits alongside or replaces existing tools
