About The Position

Johnson Controls is hiring a Technical Sales Trainee for its Building Early Career Sales Training (BEST) Program, a six-month development program for recent engineering graduates who want to launch a career in technical sales. Participants receive a dedicated mentor and support from a nationwide network of sales professionals. Classroom training, hands-on experience, and customer interactions build the technical expertise, business acumen, and relationship-building skills needed for a sales career.

The trainee will learn about Johnson Controls HVAC equipment, services, and building solutions, and support sales activities, proposals, and project opportunities. The role involves building relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, and building owners; presenting technical solutions that help customers improve building performance and sustainability; and partnering with local sales and operations teams to deliver customer outcomes.

The compensation package starts at $85,000, including base salary and bonus. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with an anticipated graduation date of December 2026 or May/June 2027.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
