About The Position

Johnson Controls is hiring a Technical Sales Trainee for its Building Early Career Sales Training (BEST) Program. This six-month development program is designed for recent engineering graduates who want to begin a career in technical sales. Trainees receive a dedicated mentor and support from a nationwide network of sales professionals. Through classroom training, hands-on experience, and customer interactions, they develop technical expertise, business acumen, and relationship-building skills.

The trainee learns about Johnson Controls' HVAC equipment, services, and building solutions; supports sales activities, proposals, and project opportunities; and works with customers and local teams to help deliver solutions that improve building performance and sustainability. The role is based in Atlanta, Georgia. The compensation package starts at $85,000 and includes base salary and bonus.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with an anticipated graduation date of December 2026 or May/June 2027.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering degree.
• Internship, co-op, engineering, sales, or customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities
