2027 Technical Sales Intern - Services

Trane Technologies•Charlotte, NC

About The Position

Trane Technologies is hiring Technical Sales Interns for a 12-week summer internship program. Interns will develop technical, business, sales engineering, leadership, and communication skills while exploring a career in Technical Sales and learning about the company’s commercial, industrial, and institutional HVAC equipment and building management controls. They may be exposed to Service, Equipment, Building Automation, Application, and Fulfillment businesses. The internship offers experience that may support pursuing a Technical Sales career and the opportunity to join the Graduate Training Program after graduation. Interns work with Sales Account Managers and customers to learn about the design, application, and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for buildings. They may attend sales meetings, business functions, sales and service calls, and customer meetings alongside experienced account managers and mentors, and participate in the steps of a sales engineering project. The posting covers multiple opportunities. Although this position is described as on-site five days per week, some opportunities may be remote or hybrid, or assigned onsite at facilities across North America. Travel is less than 15% within a defined geography. The role is designated Safety Sensitive in one section of the posting, though a later section states that the role is not Safety Sensitive.
