Technical Representative - Sales (Polished Concrete / Epoxy, Construction)
About The Position
QuestMark, a division of CentiMark Corporation, is hiring a Technical Representative to support the Regional Sales Manager in marketing polished concrete and epoxy flooring systems and materials to end users in commercial and industrial markets. The role involves sales and estimating work, account and territory development, customer site inspections, proposal delivery, material demonstrations, and estimating the materials and labor needed for flooring projects. The successful candidate will help grow regional sales and work with the sales force to provide accurate information for customer proposals. Occasional overnight travel is required.
Requirements
- Experience in general flooring, construction, or sales is required.
- Ability to work successfully both individually and within a team environment.
- Solid time and territory management skills and strong motivation to develop new accounts.
- Valid state driver's license in good standing.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
Nice To Haves
- Sales and/or estimating experience, preferably in the flooring industry.
- College degree preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Develop accounts and territories through existing-account follow-up, cold calling and prospecting, telemarketing lead follow-up, target marketing, and business development meetings.
- Develop new and existing accounts, conduct site inspections, deliver proposals, and demonstrate materials.
- Measure floors and estimate the amount of material and labor needed.
- Work closely with the sales force to provide accurate information for customer proposals.
- Help grow and build regional sales.
- Travel overnight occasionally.
