About The Position

Harbinger Motors is seeking a talented Technical Recruiter to help scale our engineering and manufacturing teams. As a recruiter you will own the full-cycle recruiting process, leveraging creative sourcing strategies to attract and close the elite technical talent critical to our mission. This person would be onsite in our Garden Grove, CA office 4 days a week.

Requirements

3+ years driving full-life-cycle recruitment, with a heavy emphasis on technical and engineering roles.
Demonstrated success in identifying passive talent, nurturing long-term relationships, and accelerating the hiring cycle.
Proficiency navigating modern applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse preferred) and utilizing advanced digital sourcing platforms.
Highly organized with the capacity to juggle multiple high-priority requisitions simultaneously without sacrificing candidate quality or process speed.
Advanced negotiation skills with a history of successfully landing highly sought-after technical talent in competitive markets.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

Proven experience recruiting specifically for mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or manufacturing roles.
Prior experience scaling technical teams within a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
Familiarity with the electric vehicle (EV) or commercial automotive sectors.

Responsibilities

Actively hunt for premier technical professionals using a mix of headhunting, industry networking, employee referrals, and innovative outreach campaigns.
Collaborate with engineering leaders and hiring managers to establish clear job requirements, create interview scorecards, and map out customized search plans for every new requisition.
Perform in-depth preliminary interviews to gauge a candidate's technical baseline, career motivations, and cultural alignment before moving them forward in the process.
Architect and oversee structured interview panels, navigate complex scheduling dynamics, and drive a fast, efficient evaluation pipeline across multiple teams.
Serve as the primary point of contact and guide for applicants. You will ensure they receive prompt feedback, transparent communication, and an exceptional experience that highlights Harbinger’s core values.
Champion data integrity within Greenhouse. Monitor vital recruitment metrics (like time-to-hire, conversion rates, and channel ROI) to identify bottlenecks and optimize our hiring workflows.
