Technical Program Manager
About The Position
FanDuel is seeking a Technical Program Manager to drive cross-functional programs from planning through delivery. The role coordinates production delivery, manages changes, builds roadmaps, manages risks and dependencies, and keeps teams aligned. The TPM works closely with data engineering teams and partners with product and business unit stakeholders across the organization to turn goals into well-structured, successfully delivered outcomes. The position leads projects such as environment migrations and end-user deliveries from kickoff through completion, coordinates production deployments end to end, and helps establish structure and clarity where workflows are not yet fully defined. The TPM communicates proactively with technical and non-technical audiences and independently coordinates stakeholders to keep programs moving. FanDuel Group is a mobile gaming company operating brands and products across mobile wagering, gaming, horse racing, daily fantasy sports, and television. It is based in New York, with offices in the United States, Canada, Scotland, and other countries. FanDuel Group is a subsidiary of Flutter Entertainment.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or in a similar role leading cross-functional programs.
- Hands-on experience coordinating production deployments and change management, ideally using Jira and Confluence.
- A track record of delivering projects such as environment migrations and end-user rollouts.
- Strong project and program management skills, including roadmap creation and execution.
- High emotional intelligence and ability to remain effective under pressure.
- Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and bringing order to them over time.
- Proactive, curious mindset, including asking appropriate questions and continuously improving processes.
- Strong business and stakeholder orientation, with motivation to work with data engineering teams.
- Adaptability in dynamic environments and ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working directly with data engineering or data platform teams.
- Familiarity with security, legal, or architecture review processes in a technical organization.
Responsibilities
- Build roadmaps and drive execution with stakeholders and cross-functional partners, keeping delivery on track.
