Technical Product Manager - Payments

Felix Technologies•New York, NY
•$170,000 - $220,000

About The Position

Félix is seeking a hands-on, technically fluent Product Manager to build and scale its next-generation payments platform. The platform supports the movement of money from customer funding through settlement with banking partners and powers multiple Félix products. The role combines platform-level strategy, technical depth, and a bias for action, with a focus on improving conversion, authorization rates, reliability, and unit economics. The Product Manager will own the payment orchestration layer and its ecosystem, including processors, banking and settlement partners, tokenization, and reconciliation. This is a builder role involving close work with engineering and ownership of business metrics such as authorization rate, processing cost, and GMV. The role includes defining and executing a payments roadmap that unifies processors, banking partners, and payment methods in a scalable orchestration platform for pay-ins, routing, and settlement. The Product Manager will evolve the in-house orchestrator and rules engine, including intelligent processor routing, fallback and resilience logic, and automated reconciliation and settlement. They will analyze payment data, validate hypotheses with SQL, and work with analysts and engineers to improve conversion, acceptance, and authorization. The position also involves launching payment methods and integrations across cards, wallets, ACH, cash, and other rails, and collaborating with Engineering, Finance, Operations, Fraud, and Business Development. The Product Manager will communicate strategy and impact to executive leadership and manage relationships with processors, acquiring and banking partners, and card networks. Félix describes itself as a hyper-growth Series C company building financial products for an underserved community. Its culture emphasizes loyalty, radical transparency, constructive feedback, ownership, and creating sustainable value. The company is an equal opportunity employer.
