About The Position

The Technical Product Management Consultant plans, defines, delivers, and assesses products and services for Truist’s Infrastructure Automation & AI product line. The role treats the infrastructure platform as a product and infrastructure domain teams and application owners as customers whose experience matters. It works across Enterprise Architecture, Platform Engineering, Risk, Cybersecurity, Change and Release Management, Demand and Capacity, and infrastructure engineering domains to align on outcomes, address process gaps, and connect efforts from demand through delivery. The consultant brings product management discipline to a platform engineering organization by leading discovery with current users, shaping a roadmap that balances foundational platform and governance investments with customer value, and establishing trusted portfolio data to report progress. The role drives adoption as well as delivery, helping teams move from manual, person-dependent processes toward governed, automation-first practices. Success requires building trust with teams outside the role’s direct authority, translating between engineering details and executive priorities, and understanding how work is performed.
