ESimplicity seeks an early-career professional who will support executive operations while gaining exposure to engineering, technical workflows, and business strategy. You will support the CEO’s daily operations while gaining hands-on exposure to technical workflows, engineering environments, and business operations. This role is designed for an early-career professional interested in growing into a technical or operational career path.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physics
  • 1+ year of experience in an administrative, coordinator, or executive assistant role
  • Proficiency with calendar management tools (e.g. Google Calendar, Outlook) and scheduling coordination
  • Experience with inbox management and email triage
  • Comfort setting up and troubleshooting basic technology (laptops, video conferencing, collaboration tools such as Zoom, Teams, or Slack)
  • Ability to organize and track technical documents, proposals, and review materials
  • Familiarity with engineering concepts relevant to ME or EE disciplines (e.g. systems, circuits, mechanical systems, RF technology)
  • Demonstrated ability to track action items and manage follow-ups across multiple teams or stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining project documentation
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with document management platforms (e.g. SharePoint, Google Drive, Confluence)
  • Experience supporting cross-functional coordination and internal communications
  • Basic understanding of engineering workflows, proposal processes, or defense/government contracting

Responsibilities

  • Assist with calendar coordination, scheduling, and meeting preparation
  • Prepare daily briefing notes and organize materials for executive meetings
  • Support basic inbox triage and follow-ups
  • Assist with setup and readiness of executive technology (laptops, meetings, tools)
  • Shadow technical discussions and support organization of materials for review
  • Help track status of technical documents and proposals
  • Track action items and follow-ups across teams
  • Assist in organizing project and proposal documentation
  • Support internal coordination across departments
  • Participate in mentorship and training related to engineering and technical operations
  • Gain exposure to RF proposals, technical reviews, and business strategy
