About The Position

Handles engineering and technical product quotations and support to help the sales efforts of the outside sales staff. The role provides equipment selections, quotations, and design assistance for JMP products, and supports outside sales, engineers, customers, and internal departments. It also assists with local seminars and training classes and performs other duties as requested.

Nice To Haves

• A four-year college bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Select equipment and prepare quotations for all JMP products as requested by JMP staff and customers, including reading and interpreting plans and specifications.
• Provide design assistance to consulting engineers, including follow-up emails with product selections, submittals, schedules, and specifications for every equipment selection request received.
• Support outside sales by completing requested tasks in a timely manner, including product quotations, submittals, prior approval letters, customer correspondence, and entering factory CQM’s.
• Become proficient in company computer-based business systems and equipment quotation and selection programs.
• Coordinate local engineers’ Hyfab requests with the Hyfab department to ensure all required and requested information is provided correctly and promptly.
• Assist with logistical arrangements for local seminars and training classes.
• Perform other duties as requested.
