Glean•Mountain View, CA
•$250,000 - $300,000•Hybrid

About The Position

Glean is hiring a product-minded, hands-on, technically strong Tech Lead Manager to establish and lead its Product Growth engineering function. This high-impact, full-stack leadership role will shape a new growth engineering capability as Glean expands the reach and impact of its Work AI platform. The role sits at the intersection of product engineering, data, experimentation, and applied AI, helping more people discover, adopt, and continuously engage with Glean. The Product Growth team owns end-to-end experiences that help users discover Glean, reach value quickly, build lasting habits, and expand product use. Its scope spans invitation and first sign-in, activation, onboarding, engagement, re-entry, and broader adoption across teams and functions. Key touch points include login and setup flows, the home page, navigation, desktop and browser experiences, in-product education, lifecycle communications, and product-led expansion. The Tech Lead Manager will set technical direction, guide architecture, partner closely with Product, Design, Data Science, Marketing, and Applied AI, and lead a team of full-stack engineers. The role combines technical leadership and hands-on contribution with responsibility for experimentation, measurement, end-to-end project delivery, cross-team collaboration, and— as the team grows—hiring, coaching, and developing engineers. The role is hybrid, with four days a week in Glean’s Mountain View office. The standard base salary range is $250,000–$300,000 annually. Compensation may vary based on location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience; certain roles may also be eligible for variable compensation, equity, and benefits.
