About The Position

Glean is hiring a product-minded, hands-on, technically strong Tech Lead Manager to establish and lead its Product Growth engineering function. The role shapes a new growth engineering capability as Glean expands the reach and impact of its Work AI platform. It sits at the intersection of product engineering, data, experimentation, and applied AI, helping more people discover, adopt, and continuously engage with Glean. The Product Growth team owns end-to-end experiences that help users discover Glean, reach value quickly, build lasting habits, and expand product use. These experiences span invitation and first sign-in, activation, onboarding, engagement, re-entry, and adoption across teams and functions. Relevant touch points include login and setup, the home page, navigation, desktop and browser experiences, in-product education, lifecycle communications, and product-led expansion. The Tech Lead Manager will guide architecture and execution, lead a full-stack engineering team, and partner closely with Product, Design, Data Science, Marketing, Applied AI, and other engineering teams. The role combines technical leadership and hands-on contribution with end-to-end ownership of growth initiatives, using customer insights, product data, and experimentation to deliver measurable improvements. As the team grows, the manager will hire, coach, and develop engineers and foster ownership, learning, and high-quality execution. The position is hybrid, with four days a week in Glean’s Mountain View office. The standard base salary range is $250,000–$300,000 annually. Compensation may also include variable compensation, equity, and benefits. Benefits include medical, vision, and dental coverage, generous time off, a 401(k) plan, a home office improvement stipend, annual education and wellness stipends, company events, and daily healthy lunches.
