About The Position

At DICK’S Sporting Goods, Teammate – Apparel helps create an engaging, confidence-building shopping experience by helping athletes find apparel for performance and everyday life. The role provides strong customer service and merchandise expertise while contributing to an inclusive, team-first store environment. Teammates are welcomed, supported, and empowered to help athletes of all abilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and athletes, proactively approach athletes to understand their needs, and provide helpful, accurate product knowledge and customer service.
• Maintain company merchandising and presentation standards, including floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment.
• Promote company programs, including customer loyalty participation, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment.
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures, as well as applicable laws and external governing requirements, including those of the Federal ATF.
• Help create an inclusive store environment where teammates and athletes feel welcome, safe, and respected.
• Support the team across the store and perform other tasks as assigned.
