About The Position
At DICK’S Sporting Goods, Teammate Apparel helps create an engaging, confidence-building shopping experience by helping athletes find apparel for performance and everyday life. The role provides customer service and product knowledge, supports merchandising and store presentation, promotes company programs, and contributes to a collaborative and inclusive store environment. Teammates may also support other areas of the store as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Greet teammates and athletes, proactively approach athletes to understand their needs, and support their shopping experience with helpful, accurate product knowledge and customer service.
- Maintain company merchandising and presentation standards, including floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment.
- Promote company programs such as customer loyalty participation, warranty sales, and private-label credit card enrollment.
- Follow safety, loss-prevention, and standard operating procedures, as well as applicable laws and external governing guidelines, including those of the Federal ATF.
- Create an inclusive store environment where teammates and athletes feel welcome, safe, and respected.
- Support the team across the store and perform other tasks as assigned.
