About The Position

At DICK’S Sporting Goods, the Teammate – Apparel helps create an engaging, confidence-building shopping experience by helping athletes find apparel for performance and everyday life. The role delivers customer service and product knowledge, supports merchandising and store presentation, and contributes to an inclusive, team-first environment. Teammates are expected to be coachable, accountable, collaborative, and trustworthy, and to support the team across the store as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and athletes, proactively approach athletes to understand their needs, and support their shopping experience with helpful, accurate product knowledge and customer service.
• Maintain company merchandising and presentation standards, including floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment.
• Promote company programs, including customer loyalty participation, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment.
• Follow policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures, as well as applicable laws and external governing guidelines, including Federal ATF guidelines.
• Help create an inclusive store environment where teammates and athletes feel welcome and safe and are treated with respect.
• Support the team across the store and perform other tasks as assigned.
