About The Position
At DICK’S Sporting Goods, Teammate Apparel helps create an engaging, confidence-building shopping experience by assisting athletes in finding apparel for performance and everyday life. The role provides strong customer service and merchandise expertise while contributing to a team-first, inclusive store environment. Teammates are expected to be coachable, accountable, collaborative, and trustworthy, and to support the team across the store.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Greet teammates and athletes, proactively approach athletes to understand their needs, and provide helpful, accurate product knowledge and customer service.
- Follow company merchandising and presentation standards, including floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment.
- Promote company programs, such as customer loyalty participation, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment.
- Follow safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures, as well as applicable laws and external governing entity guidelines, including Federal ATF guidelines.
- Help create an inclusive store environment where teammates and athletes feel welcome and safe and are treated with respect.
- Support the team across the store and perform other tasks as assigned.
