About The Position

As a Teammate – Apparel at DICK’S Sporting Goods, you help create an engaging and confidence-building shopping experience by helping athletes find apparel for performance and everyday life. You provide strong customer service and merchandise expertise while contributing to a collaborative, team-first store environment. The role is centered on bringing style, comfort, and performance together for every athlete.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and athletes, proactively approach athletes to understand their needs, and support their shopping experience with helpful, accurate product knowledge and customer service.
• Maintain company merchandising and presentation standards, including floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment.
• Promote company programs, including customer loyalty participation, warranty sales, and private-label credit card enrollment.
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures, as well as applicable laws and external governing requirements, including Federal ATF requirements.
• Help create an inclusive store environment where teammates and athletes feel welcome, safe, and respected.
• Support the team across the store using an all-hands-on-deck approach.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
