About The Position

Pet Supplies Plus is a community-focused pet store offering pet food, supplies, and grooming and washing services. The store is seeking positive, motivated, pet-loving Team Members to support a range of store operations and provide a fun, welcoming experience for pets and their owners. Team Members may work as cashiers, stock merchandise, provide in-store pet care, help guests, and assist with merchandising. The role welcomes candidates with previous pet store or retail experience, but training is available for the right person.

Responsibilities

Operate the cash register, scan and ring up items accurately and efficiently, collect payments and coupons, and provide correct change.
Unload trucks and move merchandise to storage areas and the sales floor; open boxes and help ensure products are available to guests.
Help carry guest purchases, such as pet food and cat litter, to their vehicles.
Care for pets in the store by cleaning habitats, feeding and handling animals, and ensuring they are well cared for.
Help guests locate merchandise and answer questions, offering enthusiastic, personalized service and sharing relevant pet supply knowledge.
Assist the Store Manager with creating visually exciting displays that support sales and provide a positive shopping experience.
