About The Position

Store Team Members build the company brand by delivering excellent customer service, engaging with customers, advising them on products, and driving sales. Although part-time and full-time positions generally focus on sales, team members may also be assigned merchandising, front-end, or other duties. The role is internally referred to as Service Team Member and reports to the store management team. This seasonal position is short term, no longer than six months. Team members may have the option to apply for a non-seasonal role. Delivery duties apply if delivery is added as an essential job function. The estimated pay range is $14.31–$20.03 per hour; actual compensation may vary, and the hourly rate will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–3 years of work experience.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Ability to walk, bend down repeatedly, and remain on feet for 8–10 hours a day.
Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
Ability to climb ladders and lift 50 pounds overhead repeatedly.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of experience in a retail setting.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

Maximize product inventory by processing freight, organizing and distributing inventory, pulling and stocking merchandise, building displays and end caps, and placing signage.
Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services.
Deliver exceptional, personalized customer service by greeting customers, building relationships, and informing them about products and services.
Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards.
Ensure adherence to applicable alcohol-sale laws and regulations and help maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
