About The Position
Auntie Anne’s is seeking a reliable, hardworking Team Member to help create joyful guest experiences by preparing and serving freshly baked products. The role involves friendly customer service, accurate order fulfillment and payment handling, and maintaining a clean, organized, stocked, and food-safe work environment. Team Members are expected to arrive prepared and on time, attend scheduled shifts reliably, follow operating procedures, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting. The position offers flexible scheduling of 20 to 40 hours per week. Previous food service or retail experience is preferred but not required.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
- Availability to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) each week.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Demonstrated punctuality, including arriving on time, prepared, and ready to begin work at the scheduled start of each shift.
- Dependable attendance and ability to consistently meet scheduled shifts.
- Ability to proactively communicate scheduling conflicts, emergencies, or absences in accordance with company policies.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to dependability, accountability, and teamwork.
- Ability to follow directions, procedures, and brand standards consistently.
- TB clearance if applicable by location.
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and remain active throughout a shift.
- Comfort working in warm and cold environments, including around ovens, prep areas, and walk-in coolers.
- Basic math skills and confidence using point-of-sale systems.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and guest service skills.
- Current Food Handler Certification or ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire.
- Comfort using smartphones, tablets, and store technology systems.
- Honesty, accountability, reliability, and willingness to learn and grow.
Nice To Haves
- Previous food service or retail experience, although it is not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with friendly, energetic, and professional service.
- Prepare, bake, and serve Auntie Anne’s products according to brand recipes and quality standards.
- Deliver accurate orders and a positive guest experience.
- Operate registers and handle cash, payments, and transactions responsibly and accurately.
- Maintain a clean, stocked, organized, and food-safe environment throughout each shift.
- Arrive on time, in proper uniform, and ready to work at the start of each scheduled shift.
- Maintain reliable attendance and follow call-out and scheduling procedures.
- Plan ahead for transportation, traffic, and parking to ensure timely arrival.
- Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow through with attention to detail.
- Support teammates during busy periods and collaborate to achieve store goals.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, loss prevention, and operational procedures.
- Demonstrate accountability, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
- Help create a culture of teamwork, reliability, and respect.
- Taste-test products as part of quality control processes.
