About The Position

Auntie Anne’s is seeking a reliable, hardworking Shift Manager to lead team members, support store operations, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. The role helps drive store performance, maintain operational standards, coach team members, and ensure guests receive friendly, accurate service. Shift Managers prepare, bake, and serve products according to brand recipes and quality standards while maintaining food safety and sanitation. The position calls for dependable attendance, punctuality, accountability, teamwork, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Availability to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) each week.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Demonstrated punctuality, including arriving prepared and ready to work at the scheduled start of each shift.
• Ability to consistently meet scheduled shifts and proactively communicate scheduling conflicts, emergencies, or absences according to company policies.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to dependability, accountability, and teamwork.
• Ability to follow directions, procedures, and brand standards consistently.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and remain active throughout a shift.
• Comfort working in warm and cold environments, including near ovens, prep areas, and walk-in coolers.
• Basic math skills and confidence using point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to taste-test products as part of quality control.
• Strong communication, teamwork, leadership, and guest service skills.
• Food Handler Certification, or ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire.
• Comfort using smartphones, tablets, and store technology systems.
• Honesty, accountability, reliability, and willingness to learn and grow.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of food service, restaurant, retail, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous leadership, keyholder, or shift management experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
• TB clearance required if applicable by location.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with friendly, energetic, and professional service.
• Lead shifts and provide direction, coaching, and support to team members.
• Prepare, bake, and serve Auntie Anne’s products according to brand recipes and quality standards.
• Meet operational, food safety, and guest service standards.
• Deliver accurate orders and a positive guest experience.
• Operate registers and handle cash, payments, and transactions responsibly and accurately.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash accountability, and shift execution.
• Monitor productivity and overall shift performance.
• Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Support the training and development of new and existing team members.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, organized, and food-safe environment throughout the shift.
• Arrive on time, in proper uniform, and ready to work at the start of each scheduled shift.
• Maintain reliable attendance and follow call-out and scheduling procedures.
• Plan ahead for transportation, traffic, and parking to arrive on time.
• Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow through with attention to detail.
• Support teammates during busy periods and collaborate to achieve store goals.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, loss prevention, and operational procedures.
• Demonstrate accountability, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
• Help create a culture of teamwork, reliability, and respect.
