Team Member - Moo Moo Express Car Wash
About The Position
Moo Moo Express Car Wash, part of Express Wash Concepts, is hiring a Team Member to provide customer service and support sales at its Columbus, Ohio location. The role involves engaging customers, explaining the benefits of the Unlimited Wash Club, presenting monthly membership packages, and upselling products. The listed starting pay is $15.00 per hour. Team Members help create positive customer experiences before and after washes, perform quality-control checks, follow safety procedures, and address customer escalations calmly. They also learn the wash process and equipment and use basic retail equipment such as a computer and POS system. The position requires working flexible hours, including weekends, standing and moving throughout the shift, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, or current enrollment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Ability to stand and move throughout the site for an entire shift in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Positive attitude, willingness to take direction, and professional appearance.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and wear required safety equipment.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and engage potential customers in sales efforts.
- Educate customers about the benefits of the Unlimited Wash Club and pitch memberships to new customers.
- Present monthly unlimited car wash packages and upsell products to existing customers.
- Greet customers and create positive first impressions.
- Engage with customers before and after washes to help ensure their satisfaction.
- Perform accurate quality-control checks.
- Comply with safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Address customer escalations in a calm and collected manner.
- Operate basic retail equipment, including computers and POS systems.
- Learn the wash process and equipment.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
