About The Position

Join the Curiosity Café team at Thanksgiving Point and interact with and serve guests as they experience more than 400 hands-on exhibits. This role is based in the café inside the Museum of Natural Curiosity. Team members prepare and deliver food and keep the café clean and organized. The schedule is Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., for 3–4 shifts per week, with no nights or Sundays. The wage is $12–$13 per hour.

Requirements

• Food Handler Permit; it can be obtained after hire.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance in uniform.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Be organized and detail-oriented.
• Pass a background check.
• Be at least 16 years old.

Nice To Haves

• Previous food service experience and/or cash-handling experience is appreciated but not required.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare orders.
• Greet guests, operate the register, and deliver orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Show positivity and patience with guests and coworkers.
• Complete tasks in a timely manner.
