About The Position

The Retail Team Member helps create a welcoming shopping experience by assisting customers, handling transactions, stocking and organizing merchandise, and maintaining a clean and appealing sales floor. Team members work collaboratively to meet sales and productivity goals, stay active throughout the day, and share information about the organization’s charity partners and mission. On-the-job training is provided; prior retail experience is not required.

Requirements

At least 16 years old.
Enjoy helping people and providing excellent customer service.
Friendly, energetic, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills and ability to work with others.
Comfortable operating a cash register and handling money.
Able to stay active and stand throughout the day.
Comfortable lifting merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
Dependable, organized, and attentive to detail.
Available for a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service.
Help shoppers find merchandise throughout the store.
Operate the cash register and accurately handle customer transactions.
Stock, organize, and display merchandise on the sales floor.
Keep the store clean, organized, and welcoming.
Answer customer questions about merchandise, discounts, and promotions.
Assist with moving merchandise, racks, and carts throughout the store.
Work with the team to meet sales and productivity goals.
Share information about charity partners and the organization’s mission with customers.
Help create a positive shopping experience for customers.
