About The Position

Team Leaders, also known as shift managers, uphold Ski Butlers’ customer service standards while managing the flow of day-to-day operations. The role calls for adapting to changing conditions, managing expectations, and leading by example. Daily operations are divided into morning and evening shifts. The position is seasonal, with full-time and part-time roles available, and pays $21 per hour plus tips.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Weekend and holiday work is expected.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hospitality experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the shop daily.
• Lead pre-shift and post-shift team meetings and ensure each Ski Technician understands the shift’s expectations and responsibilities.
• Plan delivery routes, support calls, and pickups for the current and upcoming shift.
• Respond to customer phone calls, text messages, emails, and voicemails in a timely manner.
• Dispatch Ski Technicians on reactive support calls.
• Ensure daily brand standards are met, including standards for uniforms, vans, equipment, and shop cleanliness.
• Set up the next shift for success.
• Upsell existing guests through phone calls and text messages during predelivery communication.
• Size guests for the appropriate equipment as orders enter the system.
• Schedule work assignments for the following shift.
• Provide real-time positive and constructive feedback and coaching to help meet Key Customer Requirements.
• Assist with labor management during slow periods.
• Take reservations and issue refunds.
• Assist with delivery and support service operations as needed.
