About The Position

Ski Butlers Ski Technicians serve as the face of the company, interacting with customers by delivering ski and snowboard rental equipment to their accommodations, providing on-mountain support, and picking up equipment at the end of rental periods. Technicians perform scheduled and reactive rental fittings through traditional in-accommodation service, express no-contact drop-off, and, in select markets, slopeside delivery. They are expected to provide timely service, communicate clearly, and select suitable equipment based on each guest’s skills and current resort conditions. The role also includes returning, sanitizing, relabeling, and tuning equipment, maintaining delivery vehicles, preparing orders, supporting customers by phone, and helping set up subsequent shifts. Seasonal full-time and part-time roles are available in Sun Valley, Idaho, with a base wage of $18 per hour plus tips. Daily operations include morning and evening shifts.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled and reactive ski and snowboard rental fittings using traditional in-accommodation service, express no-contact drop-off, and, in select markets, slopeside delivery.
• Arrive within five minutes of the agreed-upon service time.
• Set clear customer expectations about the full scope of service.
• Choose equipment appropriate to each guest’s skills and current resort conditions.
• Provide equipment support to guests within 45 minutes.
• Return scheduled pickups to the shop, sanitize and re-sticker equipment, and tune it for its next use.
• Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and fuel levels.
• Pack orders for future delivery.
• Set up the next shift and future team members for success.
• Perform basic ski and snowboard tuning, waxing, and general equipment maintenance.
• Make and answer customer phone calls in a positive and inviting tone.
• Restock delivery vehicles with extra equipment.
