About The Position

The Team Leader - Keyholder supports store leadership in achieving sales goals by working alongside store associates and providing daily direction, communication, and training. The role motivates the team to deliver an excellent shopping experience and build brand loyalty through every customer interaction. The Team Leader serves as a Vera Bradley brand ambassador by modeling and upholding the company’s core values.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
Retail experience and/or prior management experience.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including constant walking and standing; frequent bending, stooping, and reaching; strong eyesight, hearing, and dexterity; regularly lifting 10–35 lbs.; occasionally lifting up to 55 lbs.; and pushing or pulling more than 55 lbs.

Responsibilities

Work with the team to exceed sales goals, drive store traffic, convert customers, conduct community and customer outreach, promote campaigns, increase brand awareness, and build lasting customer relationships.
Motivate and inspire the team by applying Vera Bradley’s core values.
Recommend products suited to customers’ needs and drive results through add-on selling and customer outreach.
Execute and improve daily operational procedures, support visual standards, and keep the store organized and inviting.
Be reliable, uphold Vera Bradley’s core values, and follow company policies and procedures.
Support store opening and closing and peak business needs.
