About The Position

The Team Lead ensures smooth and efficient operations during assigned shifts while delivering an exceptional guest experience. The role provides leadership and guidance to team members, oversees food and beverage operations, and maintains a clean, safe, and customer-ready environment. Team Leads act as a link between management and staff by supporting training, enforcing standards, and promoting a positive team culture aligned with Cinemark’s brand principles. Duties may include work in Concession, Floor/Usher, or Attractions.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and resolve conflicts.
Friendly, energetic attitude and a sense of urgency.
Ability to follow and give clear directions.
Ability to converse and comprehend English effectively.
Completion of food handling training and any required certifications.
If eligible to serve alcohol, completion of Safe Alcohol Service training.

Responsibilities

Lead team members and set the tone during assigned shifts.
Help food and beverage operations run smoothly, including receiving vendor orders, rotating and stocking products, and maintaining hot hold and merchandise displays.
Maintain a clean, safe, and customer-ready environment throughout the shift.
Promptly report maintenance needs and safety or security issues.
Help ensure guests have a positive experience, address minor guest concerns, and escalate concerns to management when needed.
Act as a Cinemark Brand Ambassador and reinforce the principles of SMILE.
Support and guide team members during shifts, including directing break schedules.
Participate in management-led shift huddles and communicate updates to team members.
Assist with training new and existing employees, including cross-training when needed.
Alert management to attendance, tardiness, and uniform compliance issues.
Address minor team concerns and escalate issues to management when necessary.
Coach and correct minor performance issues in the moment as needed.
Complete department checklists and deliver them to management.
