About The Position

The Team Lead promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children; leads classroom management and curriculum implementation; and spends at least 50% of the weekly schedule on classroom instruction. The role communicates with families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success, and is responsible for or assists with managing, training, and mentoring new hires and fellow teachers. The Team Lead also assumes Director or Assistant Director duties in their absence, including opening and closing the school, and ensures children’s daily care by following licensing guidelines and company standards.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Nice To Haves

• College credits toward an Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree, or a CDA.
