About The Position

The Team Lead at La Petite Academy at AtlantiCare promotes children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth; leads classroom management and curriculum implementation; and spends at least 50% of the weekly schedule on classroom instruction. The role builds relationships with families, supports children’s achievement and the center’s success, and helps manage, train, and mentor new hires and fellow Teachers while creating interactive learning experiences for preschool children. The Team Lead may perform Director or Assistant Director duties in their absence, including opening and closing the school. The position ensures daily care follows licensing guidelines and company standards.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Nice To Haves

• College credits toward an Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree, or a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
